Student injured in a dog dispute with neighbour, condition critical

BCA student Keshav Kumar (22) was shot dead in a dispute in the Madhukar Chhapra village of Saini Panchayat of the Kanti police station in the Muzaffarpur district of Bihar. He is admitted to SKMCH. Doctors have reported three bullets in the thigh and one of his legs. His condition is critical. The incident has been reported to the police. SI Sachidanand Singh said that there have been reports of shooting in a mutual dispute. The investigation is being done. An FIR will be lodged on the statement of the injured. The accused and aggrieved parties are neighbors.

At the same time, Keshav’s father Arvind Mishra told the police that on Thursday, the pet dog of the youth of the neighbourhood had come to his door. The dog was shooed away when it spread dirt. There was a dispute on that with the accused youth. He threatened him with abusive speech.

At around five o’clock on Friday evening, Keshav was going to get the flour grinded in the mill. During this, the neighbour surrounded and attacked him near Bhediya Chowk. Keshav was beheaded after hitting him with the butt of the pistol. Then shot and escaped. The family reached the spot on the information of the incident. The police was also informed immediately. With the help of the police, the family took Keshav to Kanti PHC. Thereafter primary treatment was provided and SKMCH was referred for better treatment. The police have also been told about the land dispute with the accused in the past. Arvind Mishra is a government employee in Mushahari Block.
