Patna: Gold worth 70 lakh recovered, two arrested

The police department in Bihar is continuously on alert to maintain law and order. The Patna police have exposed gold smugglers in a recent event of crimes detected. The DRI team has got huge success in the capital Patna. One and a half kilograms of gold biscuits has been recovered in joint raids of RPF and DRI.
According to the information, gold was being smuggled from the North East Festival Special train by smugglers. Two smugglers, including a trafficked woman, have been arrested by the DRI team. The biscuits of gold recovered by both the teams are being valued at more than 70 lakhs.
It is being told that gold was being smuggled from Myanmar and transported through Bihar after Guwahati. At the same time, the arrested smugglers have revealed that the young smuggler gang named Rehan in Bandra, Mumbai, had to deliver the gold biscuit.
Here, the team of DRI is conducting a raid on the trafficker of the arrested smuggler. The team of DRI and RPF has recovered gold along with smugglers from the North East Festival Special train at the Patliputra Junction.
