Muzaffarpur: teenager’s body found hanging from a tree

The body of a 16-year-old girl was found hanging from a tree on Friday morning in East Tola of Kamalpura village of Paru police station in the Muzaffarpur district of Bihar. A large number of villagers gathered on the spot as news of the incident spread. The family has given a statement to the police accusing an unknown suspect of killing the corpse and hanging it from the tree. The deceased Nibha Kumari was the daughter of Shivlal Sahni of the village.

After getting the information, the police reported to the site and removed the body from the tree, and sent it for postmortem. The teenager’s body was found hanging from a banyan tree in the Jagdamba place complex of the village. Thanedar Rajendra Sah told that the teenager’s body was hanging from a silk sari on the tree. The deceased’s leg was about eight feet above the ground. The body has not received an injury to the exterior. The case looks suspicious. The cause of death will be clear only after the post mortem report comes. While filing the death review report by the police, the teenager’s father said that his daughter was killed and the corpse hung from the tree. But the family did not give the reason for the murder. The SHO told that based on the post mortem report and the statement of the family, further action will be taken by registering the case.
