Bihar Election: Two IEDs recovered from Dhibra

Voting is going on in the first phase of Bihar assembly elections 2020 in 71 seats in 16 districts amid tight security. The security forces have recovered two Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) from Dhibra area of ​​Aurangabad district even after deployment of tight security.  Two Improvised explosive devices were recovered and defused by Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in Aurangabad’s Dhibra area on Wednesday. Polling for the first phase of Bihar Elections is underway. At the same time, PM Narendra Modi has appealed to vote in this festival of democracy keeping in mind the Corona Guidelines, which ironically is hardy even being followed. Meanwhile, Union Minister Giriraj Singh also reached the temple during the voting. Today more than two crore voters are deciding the fate of 1066 candidates in EVMs who will be imprisoned in 71 seats in Bihar elections. The candidates include 952 male and 114 female candidates, including eight ministers. The eight ministers whose fate is to be decided in the first phase include Agriculture Minister Prem Kumar, Education Minister Krishna Nandan Prasad Verma, Rural Affairs Minister Shailesh Kumar, Science and Technology Minister Jayakumar Singh, Land Reforms and Revenue Minister Ram Narayan Mandal, Labor Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha, Mining Minister Brijkishore Bind, Transport Minister Santosh Kumar Nirala. 2 crore 14 lakh 84 thousand 787 voters of the state will exercise their franchise for the first phase election.
