Aurangabad: three sub-inspector suspended in theft case negligence

SP Sudhir Kumar Porika has taken prompt action in the theft incident of 22 lakhs from IDBI Bank ATM at Maharajganj Road on November 18, and the theft of around four million rupees at Reliance Trends Mall on Monday near the block turn of Old GT Road. The SP has suspended three policemen in both incidents of theft. Daroga Gaurishankar Singh and Omprakash Paswan of Nagar police station have been suspended in the ATM theft case. Daroga Dharmendra Kumar has been suspended in the theft case at Reliance Mall. At the same time, strict instructions have been given to the city police station that negligence in work will not be tolerated at any cost.
The SP said that the patrol in the theft case of the three suspended officers has been exposed. It was told that both the constables were on night patrol duty suspended in the night of ATM theft. While on the night of the theft in the mall, Daroga Dharmendra Kumar of the Nagar police station was at the patrol party. The patrol party’s negligence in both the big cases of theft has been exposed. The SP said that the thieves have been identified in the theft incident at the ATM. Raids are being conducted for arrest. Efforts are on to identify the thieves involved in the theft incident at the mall. The thieves had cut ATM from the gas cutter and took away about 21 lakh 82 thousand rupees. The city police were exposed to the incident that took place on Monday night, and the thieves broke the shutter of the mall and stole about 40 lakh jewelry. People of the city are constantly raising questions on the night patrol of the city police station due to the frequent incidents of theft in the city. People are also questioning the functioning of the police station.
