Former Union Minister and senior BJP leader Dr. C. P. Thakur tests positive for COVID-19


Senior BJP leader and former Union Minister, Dr. CP Thakur has been infected with COVID-19. His test report came positive on Thursday. After this, he himself informed about this by a tweet. Along with this, he has also requested everyone that whoever has come in contact with him in the last few days, should all go to their nearest health center to get their test done and follow the Covid rules. According to the news agency PTI, the number of deaths reached 1209 on Thursday, due to the death of eight more patients during the last 24 hours due to Coronavirus in Bihar, while the number of people who have been infected by this epidemic as of yet, has increased to 2,29,474.

According to information received from the Health Department, during the last 24 hours in the state, two people died due to Coronavirus infection in Patna and Saran and one patient each in Darbhanga, Nalanda, Saharsa, and Vaishali districts. Increased to 1209.

According to the health department, with 734 new cases of coronavirus infection coming to light from 4 pm on Wednesday evening to 4 pm on Thursday, the total number of cases in the state has increased to 2,29,474 so far. According to this, 1,17,709 samples were tested and Corona virus infected 681 patients were cured within the last 24 hours in the state.

So far 1,33,49,790 samples have been tested in the state of Bihar. 2,22,492 patients have been cured in the state and currently, the number of patients undergoing treatment is 5,772, reports Prabhat Khabar.
