Bihar: Schools from classes 1st to 5th to reopen in Bihar from March 1; Guidelines issued

With the precautionary measures to prevent corona infection, classes in the schools of Bihar will start from 1st to 5th class from 1st March in Bihar. Only 50 percent of children will come to school every day, while teachers will all come. The order related to this has been issued by the Education Department on Thursday. 

The principal secretary of the department, Sanjay Kumar, has issued instructions to all the district collectors. In compliance with the directive, District Education Officer and Civil Surgeon will cooperate with DM. It has been directed to constitute teams responsible for accidental protective preparations in schools. This team will be responsible for cleanliness, social distance adherence, etc. Students, teachers, members of the School Education Committee will be given responsibility in the team.

According to the instructions, children from classes 1st to 5th will be studying under the guidelines applicable for classes VI to XII. 72 thousand children studying in government schools from 1st to 5th will also get two masks through Jeevika.
