Bihar expecting to receive the first Corona Vaccine by the last week of January

The new year is seemingly to bring a new ray of hope for Bihar. People are eagerly waiting for the Corona vaccine to get rid of the dreaded virus. The final phase of the trial of the Corona vaccine running across the country is now nearing completion. A third phase trial is also going on in Patna AIIMS.

After the Centre’s approval, the state is expected to receive the first consignment of the Corona vaccine by the last week of January. The first vaccine will be followed by a second vaccine at an interval of 28 days. Preparations have been started to give Corona vaccine to every person in the state. In the first phase, preparations are being made to vaccinate the Corona Warriors, five lakh doctors, and health workers of government and private hospitals. For this, arrangements have been made to keep six lakh vaccines in state-level cold storage. 

Two lakh frontline corona warriors including ASHA workers, policemen, Anganwadi assistants-servants, and others will be vaccinated. In the second phase, persons over the age of 60 years, business establishments, and shopping center personnel in the state will get the corona vaccine. Simultaneously, preparations are being made on a war-footing to provide vaccines to the common people.

Walking Freezer, Cooler and Deep Freezer are being arranged 
For vaccination from district to panchayat level in the state, walking freeze, cooler and deep freezer are being provided for vaccination so that the corona vaccine can be protected at a temperature of 2 to 8 degrees Celsius. . The formation, training, and other preparations for vaccination process of the corona vaccine are being finalized. It is expected that in the new year, Bihar will be completely safe from the coronavirus, employment opportunities will increase, the pace of life will be normal, schools and colleges will reopen, business activities and development works will gain momentum, reports LiveHindustan.
