Bihar: Alert due to increasing in corona cases in five states; Health department releases new instructions

The health department in Bihar has become alert on the rising cases of corona in five states of Kerala, Maharashtra, Punjab, Chhattisgarh, and Madhya Pradesh. The department has directed the civil surgeons of all the districts to remain alert during the meeting through video conferencing and to monitor the investigation and treatment of corona infectives. Senior officials of the department will again hold a meeting with civil surgeons of all the districts on Monday to discuss how to prepare for dealing with this epidemic.

Assistance from the helpline for the investigation and treatment of corona is being provided in all the 38 districts of the state by the district level helpline at district level. On the 24-hour toll-free helpline, anyone can call and consult doctors about symptoms related to the corona virus. The helpline can be accessed from the nearest testing and treatment centers. According to the official sources of the Health Department, all the facilities provided for the corona epidemic are intact. Corona examination facility is available free of cost in all hospitals of the state. Free ambulance facility is also available to transport patients from their residence to the nearest government hospital.

According to the department over the past six days at an average of 62 new coronavirus infected patients. There are currently only 536 active infected people in the state, who are being treated under the supervision of doctors. At the same time, the state’s health rate is 99.21 percent.
