Bihar: AIIMS Patna will start normal function of OPD from Monday

OPD in AIIMS Patna will operate normally from Monday. Now OPD of all departments will work with full capacity. Any patient coming here will no longer have to return without treatment. After seven months, the OPD of AIIMS Patna is going to be operating normally.

Since 11 July it was operating as a Covid only Hospital. A limited number of OPDs operated last month. In this, the number of sightings of 20 new patients in each department was fixed. The number also had to be placed before the phone. Many patients used to reach AIIMS for treatment due to lack of information and they had to return without treatment.

The newspaper Hindustan had prominently published the news of this problem of patients. After this, the AIIMS administration has now decided to operate the OPD service normally. AIIMS Superintendent Dr. CM Singh said that now OPD services of all departments will run as before. Now no patient will have to return without treatment. Only the Emergency and Trauma Department will not be operational. Information about that will also be released soon. It has also been decided to introduce normal OPD due to the steadily decreasing number of corona infections and severe patients.
