Multi-storey buildings for homeless poor in different cities of Bihar

A multi-storey building will soon be built for the housing of homeless poor living in the cities. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has directed the Urban Development and Housing Department to work expeditiously on its action plan. On Thursday, the Chief Minister held a review meeting related to the multi-storey housing for the poor in urban areas under the Saat Nischay-2 of self-reliant Bihar through video conferencing in 1 Aney Marg and gave several instructions to the officials.

The Chief Minister said that we have made a plan to construct a multi-storey building for the homeless and landless poor. He has asked to start the construction work soon after selecting the sites for the construction of the multi-storey buildings. He directed that the eligible beneficiaries should be properly surveyed so that no one is deprived of it. He further added that our aim is that all the homeless poor living in cities should have the dream of their own house realised. Having their own home will make them feel happy and at ease.

Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Deepak Kumar, Chief Secretary Aamir Subhani, Additional Chief Secretary Finance S Siddhartha, Secretary to Chief Minister Anupam Kumar and Officer on Special Duty to Chief Minister Gopal Singh were present in the meeting. At the same time, Deputy Chief Minister cum Urban Development and Housing Minister Tarkishore Prasad, Principal Secretary, Urban Development and Housing Department Anand Kishor were connected through video conferencing.
