The tourism department of the Bihar government will soon set up tourism centers in all the districts of the state. At these tourist centers, information about the means of transportation, food, lodging, etc. will be available from the tourist centers of the district. Initiatives in this direction will intensify after the cases of the third wave of corona infection subside. According to departmental sources, the online facilities will also be provided to the tourists at these centers. For this, there will be two employees at the tourism center who will work in different shifts.
Vehicle, tour package, and ticket booking facility will be available
Tourists will also be able to get information about online tours and travels, railway, plane or bus tickets, etc. at these centers. Arrangements for vehicles and tour packages will also be made available to go from one tourist center to another district. For tourists, there will be a phone and intercom facility with WiFi available here. Tourist centers will also be linked with the local police so that the police can help the tourists in an emergency. According to the need, the facility of guide will also be made available.
Department’s website will also be updated
The website of the tourism department will also be updated to give better information related to tourist centers to the tourists visiting Bihar. Videos of major tourist places like Nalanda, Rajgir, Bodh Gaya, Vaishali, Patna, Sasaram, Pawapuri, Munger, Valmiki Nagar will also be uploaded on the website.
