Bihar Election: Election Commission changes symbols of many parties

Just before the Bihar assembly elections, the Election Commission has changed the symbol of many political parties. The Election Commission has now issued the ‘Scissor’ election symbol to Pappu Yadav’s Jan Adhikar Party. At the same time, the Hindustani Awam Morcha of Jitan Ram Manjhi has been given the symbol of the ‘pan'(kadahi). it is important to mention that earlier, the election symbol of the Jan Adhikar Party was ‘hockey’ and the symbol of Jitan Ram Manjhi’s party was ‘telephone’.

Election marks have been issued to 12 parties in total. The Rashtriya Jan Party has been given the symbol of ‘bed‘. Apart from this, the Loktantrik Lokhit Party has got ‘television‘, the print Janata Dal Nationalist has got the symbol of ‘Doli‘.

Jan Swaraj Party of Loktantra was given the symbol of ‘Carrom Board’, Bharatiya Lok Nayak Party as, ‘Road Roller’, Rashtriya Jan Vikas Party as ‘Baby Walker’, Hindustani Sampoorn Azad Party ‘Balloon’, Republican Party of India National ‘Telescope’, Mazdoor Ekta Party is ‘Hand Card‘. JAP national president Pappu Yadav said that the hockey symbol which had been running since 2015 has now expired. Now the JAP Party’s new election symbol is the scissor imprint. The party will field candidates in all 243 assembly seats with a scissor print election symbol, reported Navbharat Times.

Pappu Yadav expressed happiness over the new election symbol
Expressing happiness over getting the scissors election symbol, Pappu Yadav said that ‘with the help of scissors, the people of Bihar will curse corruption and robbers.The party’s victory in the upcoming assembly elections is certain, each one of the JAP workers will be the bearer of change in Bihar.’ He said that by getting the new election symbol, people will be able to understand us.
