Bihar Elections: Administration prepares ahead of counting, strict action against violators

During or after the counting of votes, the police will act harshly upon those causing commotion. The police have made their preparations so that the problem of law and order does not arise. SPs of all districts have been given instructions in this regard. If someone creates a ruckus, strict legal action will be taken against them. There will be a security system of three layers around the counting center.

After the assembly elections were conducted peacefully, the police is busy in security preparations for the counting of votes. Tight security arrangements have been made in and around the counting center. There will be deployment of paramilitary forces inside and outside the Vote Counting Centres. For this, 78 companies of paramilitary forces have been kept in Bihar itself. While there will be two circles of paramilitary forces in the three-tier security cordon, the third will be deployed by Bihar Military Police (BMP) and District Police.

In any case, the law and order situation has been maintained. Meanwhile, the Police Headquarters has also given directions to the SSP and SP of all the districts to maintain law and order in the situation before and after the counting of votes. The SP has been told that law and order should be maintained in every situation. If an anti-social element causes commotion, police and concerned authorities have been asked to behave strictly and take strict legal action.

Instructions for speedy action from SH to SP have been directed from SH to SP for quick action on small and big information. Additional forces have been deputed in several districts to deal with any eventuality.
